Hapoel Demand £2million From Arsenal For Enyeama

Israeli Television Telesports has reported that English side, Arsenal have made enquiries about Super Eagles goalie, Vincent Enyeama, whose side have slammed a £2million tag on if he must leave the club for the premiership side.
Enyeama, who is already on the rader of Hull City and Wigan Athletic is now on the verge of a new challenge in Europe following the interest of Arsene Wenger, who has been eyeing the player for quite a while.
“He could well be on his first season this summer in Europe because discussions are ongoing at the highest level”, the TV station was quoted as saying.
Arsène Wenger, reportedly asked pieces of information on the former player of Enyimba, presented as the possible successor to Carlos Kameni at Espanyol Barcelona before the Camerounian decided he was no longer going to leave Espanyol this summer.
The French tactician is looking to bolster his goalkeeping department that has Spanish Manual Almunia, under contract for a season again and his stand-in, the Polish Lukasz Fabianski with the Nigerian. The contact with the Hapoël For Enyeama is to further strengthen the side in the near future.
The Israeli club already made known its requirements for a transfer of its super goalie
the buyer will have to put 2 million Euros on the table. His former employers, the Bnei Yehoudah, will receive 30% of this amount. This is not the first time that Arsène Wenger shows his interest in the Nigerian goalkeeper. In 2006, after a very successful CAN, there were negotiations that fell through. Will that be the case this summer? Onl;y time it seems will tell for the player recently voted the Israeli player of the season.

I don't think it is such a good idea for Enyeama to sign for Arsenal. I do not doubt his ability to hold his own in Arsenal. He is obviously a good goalkeeper. My reservation about the purpoted move is the fact that Arsene Wenger will not give him the chance to play week in week out. Enyeama being an international cannot go to a team where he will play third fiddle to others. He should head to Hull City instead.
